Lynn Dykstra

President

Dr. Lynn Dykstra has lived in Kalispell for 20 years and raised two teen boys, one a recent grad and the other a current student at Glacier High. As a pediatrician, she is passionate about the health and welfare of children and thus, is passionate about optimizing opportunities in public education. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, wake surfing, and walks with her husband and black lab.

Anna Marie Bailey

Anna Marie Bailey is a founding KEF Board member from 2007. She has been married to Dave since 1982. They have two daughters. Michele and Danielle. Michele helps assess students for education plans to meet their individual needs. She and her husband Scott have three boys. Danielle and her husband Jake live in Alaska, where she is the Executive Director of the Alaska Bar Association.

Tim Hubbard has lived in Kalispell for 27 years, with two children graduating from Glacier High School. He has been in marketing and communications for 25 years and is excited to get the message and mission of the Kalispell Education Foundation out to the public. He enjoys skiing and taking nature walks with his wife and Labrador, Bridger.

Mark Flatau

Mark Flatau recently retired from the Superintendent position at KPS after 43 years in education. While leading KPS, much of his effort was getting a $54 million bond package approved by voters in 2016 which launched construction projects, including the new Rankin Elementary School and a thorough makeover of FHS, Linderman, The Ag Center, and numerous other projects impacting every school in the district. His career included teaching at all grade levels, coaching , Athletic Director, HS Assistant Principal, HS Principal, Assistant Superintendent and finishing his final 15 years as a Superintendent.

Sue Brown

Sue Brown

Board Member

Sue Brown taught at Flathead High School for 40 years where she helped establish the IB Programme and was actively involved in curriculum development and innovation at the local and state levels. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Whitefish Credit Union and the executive board of the Northwest Montana Literacy Council. Sue is excited about helping to support teachers and students through the work of the KEF.

Susan Schmid

Susan Schmid

Treasurer

Susan Schmid is a Native of Kalispell and has raised three children that all graduated from Flathead High School. She has her own practice as a Certified Public Accountant. Susan joined the board of the Kalispell Education Foundation in 2010. Education is crucial to the future of our children and society. She believes the foundation gives kids learning opportunities that go beyond what the district can offer. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Shawn, her three children and her granddaughter at their place on Bitterroot Lake.

Adam Cebulla is a 2013 graduate of Glacier High School and is ecstatic to be living back in the Valley with his wonderful life Lauren, bundle of joy daughter Carter and golden retriever Milo. As an alumnus of Kalispell Public Schools, Adam is passionate about providing the best experience possible to all future Kalispell Public School students for years to come. In his free time Adam enjoys being in the outdoors whether that’s fishing or boating on the lake, hiking or skiing in the mountains or just taking a good long walk with the family.

Jevon Clark

Dr. Jevon Clark is a veterinarian at the Animal Clinic of Kalispell. He is the son of 2 and husband of 1 educator and has lived public education his entire life. His grown sons both graduated from Glacier High School and he is passionate about spreading the news throughout the valley that Kalispell Public Schools are quite simply unsurpassed and we are so blessed that our kids have the opportunities and quality education that KPS affords them. Like many, his free time is spent outside in all seasons with his wife and dogs “being and doing” Montana.

Shauna Hubbard has lived in Kalispell for 27 years, with two children graduating from Glacier High School. Being in a family that includes many teachers, she sees the importance of providing opportunities to help teachers with resources that encourage academic excellence. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling and reading.
